Many people ask this question! The answer is inspired. I wanted a unique business name. One that had never been used before, and one that would inspire happy feelings whenever spoken—even after many years of use.
"Irish" — because Ireland is one of the most beautiful and spiritual places I have ever experienced, with happy memories of Irish people, St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin, the abbeys, coastline, countryside, cities, hamlets, castles, Irish coffee, music, and the souvenirs.
"Lemons" — because lemons are bright, cheerful, and refreshing; and my Bonsai lemon tree glows with happiness. It's a tiny tree that produces the most beautiful, full-size, yellow/orange, sweet lemons I've ever tasted.
The tree began in southern California (like me), and was given to me in a happy gesture of friendship by a Chinese immigrant educated as a teacher in China who now spends his life in Los Angeles caring for his Bonsai plants.
"Irish Lemons!"
