| MOTIVATION TO PLAY GUITAR: First started playing guitar on August 6, 2005. "I went to a System of a Down concert and was absolutely blown away. I always thought music was kind of 'whatever' before that, but after that day, I will forever be in love with loud, good music. After the concert I picked up the guitar and just taught myself System of a Down riffs using YouTube, then moved to Green Day, eventually was just trying to find new music to learn on the guitar. " |

ABOUT MICHAEL: Michael Thompson contributes both lead and rhythm guitar (depending on the song) and background vocals. He was most recently in a Nine Inch Nails cover band, but wanted to branch out to new and original stuff - especially once he'd discovered ACIDIC!
He's been playing guitar for four years, ever since he attended a System of a Down concert and had his mind thoroughly blown about how deeply and powerfully music can connect. |
