THE BAND:
ACIDIC puts on a high-energy, muscular stage show with catchy original songs, compelling vocals, memorable hooks you'll be humming after the show's over, and power riffs that'll make you want to floor it if you're driving! Lead singer Michael Gossard uses a wireless mic, making the band interactive, fun to watch AND be part of! Fans and music critics alike agree that they're one band that simply must be seen live.
ACIDIC has been honored by Music Review as one of its "12 Bands To Watch In 2012." They recently were named first-place winners of the 18th Billboard WorldWide Song Contest in the Alternative category, for "Strata Red." They were chosen the Whisky a Go Go's LA Weekly Band-of-the-Month in March 2010.
ACIDIC's CD RELEASES:
ACIDIC's brand new CD, the 9-song "Chronic Satisfaction," brings the band together with multi-platinum producer John Ryan of Chicago Kid Productions (Styx, Santana, Allman Brothers, and more).
ACIDIC's previous 12-song CD release, "Getting Lucky," was produced by the Wizardz Of Oz, who've worked with Liz Phair, Jason Mraz, Hawk Nelson, and Hillary Duff, and helped launch Avril Lavigne.
TOURS - ON THE ROAD:
ACIDIC launched their first coast-to-coast tour with Warner Drive in the summer of 2011, following a successful Western US Tour with Marcy Playground. They finished 2011 with successful nationwide tours with Alien Ant Farm and a second tour with Warner Drive. ACIDIC marked the end of 2010 and the start of 2011 in Europe, on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment playing for US troops in Kosovo and Germany. They premiered as a touring band in 2010, starting in the summer with Hawthorne Heights through eight states, leading to a brief California tour with The Higher in October and a more extensive Western tour with Filter later in the fall.
RADIO FEATURES:
ACIDIC's newest single, "Uninspired," began breaking on radio in the U.S. and Canada in late 2011. ACIDIC has been featured on AOL Radio, New Alternative First, and had the #1 Most Added Hot AC single in the nation in early summer 2010 with "Maybe" from "Getting Lucky."

ACIDIC's many performing coups include playing San Diego IndieFest 7, The Rockin' Roots Festival in Bakersfield, the Black Mountain Indie Music Festival in Las Vegas, a second year in a row at the Sunset Strip Music Festival , 2011 and 2010; return-engagements at Queen Mary's Dark Harbor, Six Flags Magic Mountain , SXSW in Austin, TX, the Western Fairs Assn convention in Reno, NV, Michele Clark's Sunset Sessions in San Diego, CA all in 2010; and the Main Stage at Bamboozle Left 2009 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, CA. They shared the proceeds of their CD sales at that event with the One Love for Chi Foundation: OneLoveForChi.com to help defray the costs of medical care for Deftones bass player Chi Cheng, who was seriously injured in a car accident in 2008. ACIDIC's bandmembers are actively involved in charity work through their own charity effort, "Help Us Help."
