Miriam has a Master of Science in Sociology and is passionate about social justice issues. She has spent her career teaching sociology, doing social science research, and running Little Hands Can, a nonprofit that connects kids with community service opportunities.

Miriam originally began doing art as a way to creatively express her passion for social justice. She strives to make pieces that are empowering and inspiring for all.

Miriam lives with her husband and two little girls in Eugene, Oregon.
